Our Journey.

Black Wolf was born from the determination to create something authentic and timeless. We move away from industrial formulas to embrace the grain-to-glass method. Here, every batch is designed with the rigor of a structural project and executed with the instinct of signature cuisine. We don’t just produce spirits; we distill character.

Our Roots & Community

Black Wolf does not exist in a vacuum. We are an integral part of Coimbra and the community that welcomes us. For us, 'The Pack' is not just a team or a group of customers; it is the notion of family and belonging to the territory. We honour our roots and work so that every bottle reflects the pride we take in our origin.

Circular Sustainability

Producing in a raw yet refined way requires respect for what the earth gives us. Our commitment to zero waste is practical and daily:

  • Solar Energy & Water Recovery: Part of our operation is powered by solar energy, and we reuse all the cooling water from the still for cleaning the distillery.

  • Closing the Loop: The spent grain from our whisky production is delivered to local farmers for animal feed and fertilizer, closing the cycle within our region.

  • Zero Waste: The fruit used in gin production is transformed into dehydrated fruit in our Lab, giving new life to ingredients in our cocktails.
